Job summary

Richmond Hill Hotel in London is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform daily maintenance across the hotel, contribute to preventive plans, and handle plumbing, electrics, decorating and general DIY tasks to keep the guest experience seamless.

You will work safely, assist with emergency drills, and liaise with contractors, while embodying a friendly, proactive spirit that supports memorable guest stays.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily maintenance tasks across the hotel, including bedrooms, public areas, and team spaces.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests reported by team members or guests.
• Supporting preventative maintenance plans to reduce breakdowns and keep operations smooth.
• Getting hands-on with plumbing, basic electrics, decorating, and general DIY duties.
• Working safely and ensuring health & safety compliance.
• Assisting with emergency procedures, such as fire alarm tests and building checks.
• Liaising with contractors when needed and ensuring work meets standards.
• Being a visible, approachable team member who takes pride in every job.
