Job summary

Threadneedles Hotel, Autograph Collection, a distinguished five-star boutique hotel in the City of London, seeks a proactive Maintenance Assistant to support general property upkeep, decoration, door maintenance, furniture movement and basic plumbing tasks.

You will join a collaborative team across Threadneedles and The Academy Hotel, contributing to improvement projects and ensuring high standards of service. A can-do attitude, attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of the property including decoration, hanging/re-fixing items on walls, door maintenance, movement of furniture, basic plumbing and minor drain blockages.
• Collaborate across Threadneedles Hotel and The Academy Hotel on improvement projects and key tasks as required.

Maintenance Assistant at Threadneedles Hotel

As a Maintenance Assistant you will get involved with the general maintenance of the properties this can include, decoration, hanging/ re–fixing items on walls, door maintenance (handles, fire closures etc), movement of furniture, basic plumping, and minor drain blockages.

This ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude with previous experience in a general maintenance role, you will have excellent attention to detail and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team or independently.

Your base will be Threadneedles Hotel, where you’ll become an integral part of the team. As part of our collaborative approach across our London hotels, you’ll also work closely with colleagues at The Academy Hotel, supporting improvement projects, key tasks and initiatives when required. It’s a great opportunity to broaden your experience, build relationships across both properties and make a positive impact beyond your home hotel.
