NYX Hotels Edinburgh is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to uphold high standards of safety and guest care. You will support the hotel in day-to-day maintenance, assist in safety procedures, and coordinate with departments to ensure a first-class guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Offer exceptional guest care at all times.
• Ensure the hotel is maintained in a first-class condition and be fully conversant with the company quality standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues in all departments to elevate the overall guest experience consistently.
• Operate in a safe and orderly manner, promptly reporting any hazards, accidents, losses, or damages to management.
• Perform room checks to complete routine maintenance and ensure prompt repairs are carried out as appropriate.
• Full knowledge of the fire procedures of the hotel, as laid down in the fire plan.
• Adhere to Company policies, Code of Conduct, procedures and relevant legislation at all times, including but not limited to Data Protection and Health and Safety regulations, COSHH and risk assessment.
• Utilise all relevant systems correctly to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Complete any other reasonable request made by a member of the management team or a supervisor.
