Elysium Healthcare is offering a full-time Maintenance Assistant position at Barnet Lane Clinic in Borehamwood. You will help maintain and safe-keep facilities, carry out repairs, and coordinate with contractors to ensure a well-presented environment for residents and staff.

The role runs 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility. Joining a dedicated team, you’ll receive training and opportunities to grow within the service.

• Previous experience within a maintenance role.

• Courtesy and respect to residents to ensure high-quality service.
• Participation in training sessions and staff meetings.

• Participating in a 1-week on-call rota for emergency maintenance.
• Coordinating and supporting contractors on site and completing paperwork and tool checks.

Join Barnet Lane Clinic in Borehamwood as a Maintenance Assistant where you will be part of creating a well- presented and safe environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the services facilities are fit for purpose, gardening and will regularly conduct audits to identify and repair any faults ensuring a safe environment for service users, staff and visitors. Working alongside an established team, you will turn your hand to all maintenance-related tasks, liaising with contractors to support the upkeep of the service. You'll receive all necessary training to get you started and join the dedicated team, where you can make a positive difference and be part of changing lives for the better. achieve your career goals. This is a full time position of 37.5 hours a week. Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with flexibility to accommodate alternative hours such as 8am-4pm.

As a Maintenance Assistant you will have:

• Assisting with ensuring that the service, buildings, facilities and equipment requirements are maintained and fit for purpose.
• Utilising good DIY skills to ensure safety of service users is maintained.
• Assisting in regular checks and maintenance.
• Assisting in the repair and maintenance of all buildings.
• Assisting in all decorating.

• Participating in a 1 week retaining on-call rota for the purposes of emergency maintenance.
• Coordinating and supporting contractors whilst on site and completing of all paperwork and tool checks.

The service specialises in treating patients who have experienced multiple or prolonged admissions, stalled discharge pathways, or who have been unable to progress within conventional care environments.
