Job summary

Walker Dendle Technical is seeking a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer/Associate to join its central London design studio. The role demands Chartered status with IStructE and/or ICE, plus strong design and project-running experience in a smaller consultancy.

You will work across diverse projects in the London and South-East region, including residential, commercial and leisure sectors. The candidate should be technically capable, ready to advance their career in an owner-managed firm, and

• Chartered membership with IStructE and/or ICE is required.
• Minimum design and project-running experience in a smaller consultancy.
• Technically strong with ambition to lead in an owner-managed business.

Responsibilities

• Work on challenging London & South-East based projects in a mixed portfolio of new-build and refurbishment.
• Drive project delivery and maintain high design quality while mentoring junior staff.

Job description

Mainstream Central London consultancy requires a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer/Associate to join the well-established London design studio.

Candidates will need to be a Chartered member of IStructE and/or ICE and must have (as a minimum) good design and project-running experience in a smaller consultancy environment. They should be technically-strong and be looking to drive their career forward in an owner-managed business working on challenging London & South-East based projects.

Current workload is a diverse mixture of both new-build and refurbishment developments with project values up to £50million covering various sectors of building structures engineering, including residential (Developer & Private Client), commercial, leisure, retail and hospitality.
