Job summary

WALKER DENDLE TECHNICAL LTD in London seeks a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer/Associate to join its design studio. You will lead design and project execution for varied building structures projects, from new builds to refurbishments, in a dynamic owner-managed practice.

The role requires Chartered status with IStructE/ICE and strong design and project-running capabilities, with a preference for candidates from smaller consultancies.

Qualifications

• Chartered membership of IStructE and/or ICE.
• Proven design and project-running experience in a smaller consultancy.
• Experience with London/South-East projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and project management for complex structural schemes.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and other engineers to deliver projects on time and to budget.

Job description

Mainstream Central London consultancy requires a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer/Associate to join the well-established London design studio.

Candidates will need to be a Chartered member of IStructE and/or ICE and must have (as a minimum) good design and project-running experience in a smaller consultancy environment. They should be technically-strong and be looking to drive their career forward in an owner-managed business working on challenging London & South-East based projects.

Current workload is a diverse mixture of both new-build and refurbishment developments with project values up to £50million covering various sectors of building structures engineering, including residential (Developer & Private Client), commercial, leisure, retail and hospitality.
