MPJ Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mains Water Engineer to cover Devon, Cornwall and surrounding areas. You will investigate leaks, repair external mains water supplies, carry out excavations and reinstatement work for domestic and commercial customers.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday - Overtime Available
Salary: £30,000-£40,000 Basic + Overtime + Bonus

Are you an experienced Mains Water Engineer looking for a role where your skills are valued and your earning potential is in your hands?

We're looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join our growing national team, covering Devon, Cornwall and the surrounding areas.

You'll be responsible for investigating leaks, repairing external mains water supplies, carrying out excavations and reinstatement work, and delivering a first-class service to both domestic and commercial customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Investigating and repairing external mains water supplies
• Carrying out leak detection and "find & fix" repairs
• Excavating and installing or repairing water pipes
• Using CAT scanners and other relevant detection equipment
• Reinstating paving, tarmac and concrete to a high standard
• Working across Devon, Cornwall and surrounding areas
• Working independently while maintaining excellent health and safety standards
• Providing professional and friendly customer service on every job

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in mains water repairs
• Experience in leak detection and excavation
• Knowledge and experience using CAT scanners
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
• Full UK driving licence
• Moling/trenchless installation experience is advantageous but not essential
