Job summary

Oyster Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Mains Layer for a well-established utilities organisation in Bridgend. You will install, test and commission water and gas connections on live pipelines, prioritising safety on public highways.

Role requires RAMS writing, CSCS card, a valid driving licence and strong teamwork. Desirable: NRSWA, SHEA gas/water, and EUSR Water hygiene. On-site parking and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Gas or water utility experience required.
• Experience installing extensive pipework on site.
• RAMS prepared and reviewed before work.
• CSCS card and a valid driving licence required.
• Strong safety focus and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, testing and commissioning of water and gas connections.
• Prepare RAMS before work begins and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external contractors on site.
• Operate site machinery safely on public highways.
• Adapt to changes in project requirements to ensure success.
