Oyster Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled gas or water mains layer for a client in the utilities sector. The role focuses on hands-on installation, testing and commissioning of water and gas connections onto live pipelines, with emphasis on safety and collaboration on site.

You will work on sensitive sites and public highways, prepare RAMS, and operate site machinery. A CSCS card, driving licence, and relevant gas/water experience are required or desirable.

Formación

• Gas or water utility experience on site.
• Experience installing pipework up to 800mm.
• Experience writing RAMS and working with RAMS.
• CSCS card and valid driving licence.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements for sensitive sites.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out hands-on installation, testing and commissioning of water and gas connections onto live pipelines.
• Prepare and review clear RAMS before work begins.
• Work closely with colleagues and external contractors.
• Safely operate site machinery and equipment such as excavators and winches.
• Adapt to changing project requirements to ensure success.
