Job summary

Consult is seeking a Mainframe Automation Consultant for a remote, three-to-six-month engagement. The role centers on converting OPS/MVS Rules and EXECs into BMC AMI Ops Automation, requiring deep mainframe automation expertise and strong REXX development skills.

You'll work on an automation migration programme, reviewing and optimising processes, developing REXX-based solutions, and supporting the transition of critical workloads alongside technical teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience converting OPS/MVS Rules and EXECs to automation.
• Strong REXX development skills for automation scripts.
• Deep knowledge of Mainframe environments and migration projects.
• Experience with BMC AMI Ops Automation is essential.

Rate: Circa £600 Per Day

The Role

I am working with a longstanding client who require an experienced Mainframe Automation Consultant to support a major automation migration programme.

The role is focused on converting existing OPS/MVS Rules and EXECs into BMC AMI Ops Automation and the successful candidate will bring deep mainframe automation expertise, strong REXX development skills and a proven track record delivering automation conversion projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly specialised programme where your expertise in REXX, Mainframe Automation and AMI Ops Automation will be central to the success of the project.

Key Responsibilities
