The Role:

This role is part of our Saab Seaeye Under Water Robotics Business Unit.

The Main Assembly Production Team Lead will be responsible for leading the assembly of our Remotely Operated Vehicles at our new Trilogy Facility in Fareham.

Responsibilities include providing direction, instruction, and guidance to manufacturing teams to ensure safety, budget adherence, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies to meet team goals and targets.
• Arrange and monitor training for team members.
• Communicate clear instructions to team members.
• Gather feedback and promote continuous improvement.
• Manage daily operations flow.
• Report team progress and updates to the company.
• Distribute reports to relevant personnel.
• Implement and promote the company's 6S policy, ensuring safety and emergency procedures are followed, and report incidents.
• Maintain and improve quality standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure timely delivery of electrical subassemblies and components.
• Use judgment and initiative to solve operational challenges.
• Support and mentor team members to develop skills and flexibility.

Skills and Experience:

• Electrical Engineering qualification (HNC level or equivalent)
• Leadership and coaching experience
• HV qualifications at supervisory level
