Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Machinist (Precision Engineering) in Harlow to join a team delivering repairs to aircraft components using lathes, mills, jig borers and grinders.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, maintaining machinery, and adhering to safety protocols. Monday to Friday work is complemented by overtime, enhanced holiday and pension benefits, plus ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Experience within the aerospace industry advantageous but not essential.

• Carry out routine and preventative maintenance tasks on machinery as required
• Comply with all safety requirements and ensure the correct use of PPE
• Removal and installation of bushings, bearings, cups, liners as required

The Role:
