The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established specialist manufacturing business based in Portsmouth, is seeking an experienced CNC Turner/Miller to join their skilled production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served machinist with experience in both CNC and manual turning/milling who is looking to work in a highly specialised precision engineering environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Set and operate both CNC and manual lathes to manufacture precision-engineered components.
• Work within a busy machine shop environment while maintaining health, safety and quality standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and production documentation.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and maintain tight tolerances.
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments where required.
• Maintain accurate production records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner/Miller within a precision engineering environment.
