Safran Helicopter Engines UK seeks a skilled Machinist to join our New Production team. You will perform precision machining on aerospace components in line with OEM manuals and engineering specs, delivering quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have proven experience in precision machining, measuring with precision equipment, interpreting specifications, and maintaining high standards of health and safety while meeting production targets.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
  • Comply with Health, Safety, Environmental, and company procedures.

Alongside the EMCH and with a broad customer base in both the fixed wing and rotary wing markets, Safran's experienced team of technical and support staff are also committed todelivering excellence in the Manufacturing, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of complex productssuch as air starters, air producers, auxiliary power units and oil pumps. We are very focused on delivering these products and services tomeet all our customer requirementswith particular attention toturnaround time performance.

About the role

Safran Helicopter Engines UK is seeking a skilled and motivated Machinist to join our New Production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out precision machining operations on aerospace components in accordance with OEM manuals, engineering specifications, and work instructions.

This role is ideal for an experienced manufacturing professional with a strong understanding of machining processes and precision measurement techniques who is committed to delivering quality products in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
