Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd is seeking a Machining Lecturer to teach and assess learners on machining and engineering programmes at a further education provider. You will help students develop practical skills, technical knowledge and industry-ready confidence through hands-on workshops and theory.

You'll deliver CNC, lathe, milling and turning sessions, track learner progress and support curriculum delivery. Applicants with a Level 3 qualification and a passion for mentoring learners are encouraged to

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering, manufacturing or machining, or equivalent.
• Strong practical and technical knowledge of machining operations.
• Enthusiasm for supporting and motivating learners

Responsibilities

• Teaching and assessing learners on machining and engineering programmes.
• Delivering practical workshop sessions alongside classroom theory.
• Covering machining operations including CNC, lathe, milling and turning.
• Supporting curriculum delivery, assessment and learning resources.
• Monitoring, recording and tracking learner progress
