Job summary

The Chesterfield College Group in Chesterfield is seeking an apprentice to set up and program machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth production and adherence to quality standards. You will read instructions, follow safety rules, and contribute to continuous improvement in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • Setting and programming machinery and equipment.
  • Ensuring productive running of machinery and equipment.
  • Meeting quality standards and procedures.
  • Achieving production and scheduling targets.
  • Keeping equipment and work area safe, clean and tidy.
  • Assisting development of equipment and process improvements.
  • Maintaining good communication and teamwork.
  • Following company policies and guidelines.
  • Reading and understanding all work instructions, drawings and inspection reports.
