Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Compliance Engineer (Machinery Safety) for an Adlington, Cheshire site-based role with one day of home working per week after probation. The role focuses on machinery safety compliance across the lifecycle of equipment, working with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams.

Ideal candidates will have machinery compliance, product safety experience, CE/UKCA marking and solid technical documentation skills, with a background in manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience in machinery compliance, product safety or a related engineering role within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical machinery principles.
• Experience with risk assessments, CE/UKCA marking and technical documentation.
• Background in food processing or packaging machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead machinery risk assessments and hazard analyses, embedding compliance into design and manufacturing.
• Maintain technical files, declarations of conformity and supporting compliance documentation.
• Advise on machinery safety, CE/UKCA marking, electrical safety, EMC and functional safety requirements.
• Coordinate external testing, certification and audits, supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and training to engineering, manufacturing and operational teams.
