Job summary

Purely Recruitment Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Skilled Production/Manufacturing Operative to join a growing team on the outskirts of Swindon. This temporary role runs 8:00am to 5:00pm, and you must have your own transport to access site.

You will operate machines, set up and adjust equipment, perform quality checks, and keep accurate records while following production schedules. The role requires a hands-on, team‑minded attitude, strong health and safety awareness, and good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Setting up, adjusting, and repairing industrial machinery to meet output targets.
• Quality Control: Inspecting finished components, keeping accurate records, and adhering to strict specifications.
• Operating production and manufacturing machinery safely
• Completing daily tasks and following production schedules
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality and efficiency
• Supporting improvement projects and general factory operations
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and hazard‑free
