Job summary

Recruit4staff is representing a leading manufacturing company seeking a Production Operative to join their Powys facility. Salary is £25,365 with overtime paid at £27.10 per hour, on 12-hour shifts across days and nights.

You will set up and operate production machines, perform quality checks, and collaborate with other departments while adhering to health and safety rules. A stable work history and willingness to do manual handball work are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrate stability in work history.
• Happy to perform manual handball work.
• Experience in a high-volume environment, preferably with automated processes.
• Team player with a flexible approach to shift patterns.
• Basic PC skills.

PERMANENT POSITIONS

For the successful Machine Operative, our client is offering:

• Salary £25,365
• Overtime available (paid at double/time) £27.10 P/H
• 12‑hour shifts, including Days and Nights - 36 hours per week
• Week 1 & 2 - Thursday, Friday, Saturday (Days) 6AM to 6PM
• Week 3 & 4 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Nights) 6PM to 6AM
• Week 5 & 6 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (Days) 6AM to 6PM
• Week 7 & 8 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (Nights) 6PM to 6AM

• Experience of working in the manufacturing industry
• Demonstrate stability in work history
• You must be happy to do manual handball work
• Experience within a high‑volume environment is essential, preferably with experience of automated processes.
• Experience of working as part of a team and a flexible approach to work is essential, including the ability to work the required shift pattern in line with the business needs.
• Basic PC skills.
