Job Description

To ensure that moulding machines operate according to the specifications set by the Technician Department and that containers meet customer requirements. The role also focuses on minimizing downtime and scrap levels.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. Ensure moulding machines and ancillary equipment are in good working order. Report defects to supervision and perform remedial work within the technician's competence.
2. Check that products at the packing station meet quality standards, including visual inspection, weight, and filling documentation.
3. Perform adjustments on moulding machines, heads, tooling, blowpins, blades, and ancillary equipment within your competence.
4. Maintain constant raw material supply by changing over bins and report any issues with bin usability to supervision.
5. Keep the work area and equipment clean and well-maintained.

What Makes You Great

Skills/Experience:

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical engineering knowledge or background preferred.
• Experience operating machinery; training on specific ALPLA machinery will be provided.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing is highly advantageous.
