The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Machine Setter on behalf of our well-established manufacturing client based in Corby. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable, full-time hours and excellent long-term career prospects within a growing production environment. Working hours are 42 hours per week, with overtime possible.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Machine Setter on behalf of our well-established manufacturing client based in Corby. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable, full-time hours and excellent long-term career prospects within a growing production environment.

About the Role

Machine Setter - Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Delivering machine utilisation efficiencies across allocated production lines in line with company targets
• Achieving material efficiency targets and minimising waste
• Performing all duties to the required standards and within expected timescales
• Maintaining high quality standards throughout the production process
• Caring for and helping maintain tools, tooling and production equipment
• Following all company policies, procedures, work instructions and operating standards
• Completing accurate production and performance records each shift
• Demonstrating flexibility to help cover production requirements and vacant shifts where needed
• Undertaking training as required to support business needs and personal development
• Communicating effectively and working collaboratively with colleagues across the business

Working Hours

• 42 hours per week
• Full-time hours
• Overtime may be available depending on business requirements

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Machine Setter or within a manufacturing/production environment preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to undertake training
• Reliable with a positive attitude towards health, safety and productivity
