Gap Personnel is seeking a Machine Operator in Shoeburyness, Southend. The role offers £12.91 per hour, with a pay rise after permanent placement, and a Monday to Friday 14:15-22:15 shift.

You will operate an Eterna die-cut flatbed machine, complete quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Full training is provided and there is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn machine operation and follow instructions.
• Good attention to detail and reliable.
• Punctual and strong work ethic.
• Must be physically fit for heavy lifting.
• No prior experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate an Eterna die-cut flatbed machine safely and efficiently.
• Complete regular quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
• Carry out manual handling and heavy lifting as part of the production process.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Work with the wider team to achieve daily production targets.
