Job summary

Peaple Talent is seeking a Machine Operator in Skelmersdale for a temp-to-perm role. You will operate machinery on a three-shift rotation (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) Mon-Fri, ensuring high quality and delivery of components. Training will be provided, and there is potential for a permanent position after probation.

The role is based in an engineering environment, with a comprehensive benefits package and progression opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment preferred but not essential.
• Willing to work Mon-Fri 3-shift rotation (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am).
• Must have valid work permit to work in the UK.

The role is for a reputable engineering business that boasts a leading name within its industry. You will be tasked with operating machinery and processing components to ensure high levels of quality and production delivery.

You will be supported with full industry specific training so, whilst prior experience working within a production environment is preferred, is it not essential.

The role would suit someone who wants to work in a technical/engineering production environment, looking for Mon-Fri working hours.

This position is on a temp-perm basis until 31/12/2026, with possibilities of a permanent role for the right individual.

The Role:

• Machine operator within an engineering environment.
• Operating machinery and processing components to ensure high levels of quality and production delivery.
• Mon-Fri 3 shifts weekly rotation (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am)

The Candidate:

• Ideally have some experience working within a production environment.
• Happy to work the above shifts rotation.
