Placements24 is seeking a hands-on Machine Operator to join a busy Randburg production facility. You will operate and monitor machinery, perform routine checks, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role emphasizes efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to schedules in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have prior industrial machinery experience, good manual dexterity, and the ability to follow technical instructions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating industrial machinery is highly desirable.
• Ability to understand and follow technical instructions and operating manuals.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight as required.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Basic understanding of mechanical principles is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor assigned manufacturing machinery to ensure efficient and safe production.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products from machines.
• Adhere strictly to production schedules and quality control standards.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and company procedures while operating machinery.
• Report any machine malfunctions or quality deviations to the supervisor immediately.
