Machine Operative

Our established client, based in the Shropshire countryside on the outskirts of Wellington, is looking for a full-time, temporary-to-permanent Machine Operator to join their success team on the night shift.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Sub-Assembly machinery by programming, lifting, and feeding into the machine following Safe Operating Guidelines.
• Perform regular quality checks of products.
• Prepare, pack, and assemble products according to instructions and standards.
• Assist in stock taking and discrepancy investigations.
• Load and unload cartons filled with parts, program machines, and perform repetitive tasks, requiring self-discipline and motivation.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in machine operation.
• Good standard of written and spoken English.
• Good numeracy skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Good level of fitness, as the role involves lifting.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Working hours: 10 pm – 6 am

Pay: £13.10 per hour

Hours per week: 38.5 hours
