Job summary

Hariley Solutions West Midlands is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for a busy Wolverhampton-based site. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and a long-term pathway through a 12-week temp-to-perm arrangement, with weekend work and clear pay progression.

You'll operate punch presses, bending tools and other equipment, read engineering drawings, and perform measurements. A physically demanding but stable role in a supportive team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail and strong practical skills.
• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery including punch presses, bending tools, and manual equipment.
• Cutting materials to size using saws.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Completing measurements and basic calculations accurately.
• Packing and preparing finished products for dispatch.
• Supporting general warehouse and labouring duties.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting where required.

Location: Wolverhampton

Pay Rate: £16.90 per hour

Shift Pattern: Mon - Thurs 20.30 - 06.30

Hours Paid: 38 hours per week

Contract: 12 Week Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
