Job summary

Pilgrim’s Europe is seeking a Machine Minder to join our Grantham team. The role involves operating and maintaining factory machinery, with a focus on health and safety, quality, and hygiene. The position follows an alternating shift pattern (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00) from Monday to Friday.

Salary starts from £560 per week, (£30,992 per year). Excellent development opportunities, on-site training, and a supportive workplace are provided by Pilgrim’s Europe.

Qualifications

• Health and safety awareness is essential.
• Ability to operate and maintain factory machinery.
• Basic mechanical duties related to equipment in the factory.
• Attention to quality and hygiene standards in the factory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal and team health and safety.
• Maintain quality standards within the factory.
• Maintain hygiene of factory and machinery.
• Carry out basic mechanical duties on equipment.
• Set up and operate machinery.
• Assemble and disassemble machinery for deep cleaning.
• Provide service to other areas of the factory.
• Carry out any other duties as required by the manager.
