Job summary

GESIPA UK Ltd in Keighley, Bradford, is seeking a proactive Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and run production machinery, read drawings, select materials, and perform quality inspections to meet customer specifications.

The role involves collaborating with Quality and Technical teams and adhering to safety standards. The ideal candidate has a mechanical mindset, enjoys hands-on work, and is flexible to rotating shifts, including nights.

We're looking for a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team at GESIPA in Keighley, Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, takes pride in producing high-quality products, and is keen to develop their technical skills.
Your Tasks
As a Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating production machinery to manufacture products that meet quality and customer requirements. You'll work closely with colleagues across production, quality, and technical teams to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up machines using the correct tooling
• Operating production equipment safely and efficiently
• Reading and interpreting production drawings and works orders
• Selecting the correct materials for production runs
• Carrying out quality inspections and measurements
• Ensuring products meet exact specifications

Experience that would be beneficial

• Previous manufacturing or production experience
• Experience setting or operating machinery
• Understanding of engineering or production drawings
• Experience in cold forming or similar manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with measuring equipment and quality checks
