Job summary

MTrec are recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Hexham area. The role operates Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30, with hourly pay of £15.80–£16.00 and free onsite parking.

The successful candidate will operate robotic manufacturing cells, load/unload materials, and perform quality inspections while adhering to strict schedules. Prior automation experience is advantageous, and there is potential for permanent roles for the right person.

Qualifications

• Used to working in a fast-paced production environment.
• mechanically minded and capable of working individually and independently on occasions
• Experience in automated machine shop advantageous but not essential
• Be consistent, accurate and ensure procedures are followed.
• Physically fit as some products are heavy

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor robotic manufacturing cells
• Manually loading and unloading materials onto machinery
• Capable of following strict guidelines and schedules
• Monitor performance, cycle times and production output
• Perform quality inspections with measuring products
• Respond to machine alarms and minor equipment faults
• Contribute to continuous improvements with team leads
