Job summary

AMFRESH Group in Peterborough is seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team on a permanent basis. The role offers weekly pay and a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern from 05:45 to 18:15, with progression opportunities as you develop your skills within a large global fresh produce business.

You will help keep production lines running safely and efficiently, handle changeovers, check labels, monitor performance, and support new starters as they learn the role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating machinery is helpful, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and keep equipment clean and safe throughout your shift.
• Complete changeovers and check labels to ensure products are correctly packed.
• Monitor machine performance and work with your team to meet production targets.
• Support new starters as they learn the role.
