NT Engineering & Manufacturing in Paisley is seeking a proactive Machine Operator / Forklift Driver to join our busy manufacturing facility. You will operate and monitor machinery, support production lines, and move goods around the site using a counterbalance forklift.

The role follows a rotating days and nights shift pattern, three shifts per week, offering a good work-life balance and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator within a manufacturing environment.
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
• Comfortable with rotating day and night shifts.
• Strong awareness of health and safety in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery to meet production targets.
• Carry out machine setup, changeovers, and basic adjustments.
• Load raw materials into production equipment.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift to transport materials, pallets, and finished products safely around the facility.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Perform routine quality inspections and complete production documentation.
• Identify and report equipment faults or production issues.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with 5S principles.
• Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures within the manufacturing environment.

The Role

We're recruiting for a Machine Operator / Forklift Driver to join a busy manufacturing facility in Paisley. You'll play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently by operating machinery, supplying production lines with materials, and safely moving goods throughout the facility using a counterbalance forklift.
