Job summary

Proactive Global in Huntingdon is seeking a Machine Setting Operator to join our production team. You will operate various machines, monitor operations and perform basic maintenance to keep equipment running safely.

The role requires a high school diploma (technical training preferred) and prior production-machine experience. You will troubleshoot, ensure quality, and collaborate with colleagues to meet production goals; shift work includes day and night.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
Prior experience using machinery in a production setting.
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical abilities.
Fundamental knowledge of safety rules and guidelines; strong problem‑solving and attention to detail.
Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Operate various machines to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Make sure the equipment is in optimal condition by doing routine maintenance checks.
Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
Keep track of production statistics and notify supervisors of any problems or hold-ups.
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures.
When required, help with machine setup and adjustment.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production goals.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
