The role involves operating machines that mix chemicals, weighing materials, and fine-tuning temperature and flow settings to keep production running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-moving warehouse, machine operation, COSHH exposure, and a valid forklift counterbalance licence.

Job Title: Machine Operator / Chemical Process Worker

Location: Whitley Bridge, DN14 0GH

Grade: Level 1 Technician

About the Role: Join a leading worldwide manufacturing plant with an expanding team during this exceptionally busy period.

Duties Include:

• Monitoring machines that mix specific chemicals and liquids according to the formula
• Weighing chemicals/raw materials on a scale into a mixing tank
• Observing the readings on the mixing tank and adjusting the temperature and flow meter controls

Ideal Candidates MUST Have:

• Experience in a fast-moving warehouse
• Machine operating experience
• COSHH experience
• Fork Truck counterbalance experience or licence
• Teamwork abilities while focusing on tasks
• Up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety policies
• Checkable work historyOwn PPE

Shift Hours:

• 3 shifts on rotation: Early - Late - Nights
• Sunday to Saturday 05:45 - 14:00 / 13:45 - 22:00 / 21.45 - 06.00
