Greencore Group in Wisbech is seeking a Machine Operative to keep production lines safe, efficient and of the highest quality. You will set up, monitor and adjust machinery, work with engineers and supervisors, and ensure records and quality checks are completed accurately.

The role provides full training, with a focus on health and safety, HACCP and GMP, plus opportunities for development and progression within a fast-paced manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous.
• Ability to operate and monitor production machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate and monitor production machinery.
• Ensure machines run efficiently and meet production targets.
• Carry out basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Monitor product quality throughout the process.
• Complete routine machine checks and report faults or breakdowns.
• Collaborate with supervisors, team leaders and engineers to minimise downtime.
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP and GMP procedures.
• Maintain production records and paperwork accurately.
• Support changeovers between runs, including cleaning and prep.
