Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the loading shovel.
• Carry out daily machine checks.
• Maintain and keep tidy stock levels on site.

• Load materials into vehicles and trailers.
• Operate a telehandler when needed.
• Operate a 360 excavator when needed.
• Work within site and company H&S rules.
• Maintain valid in-date machine tickets by refresher courses.
• Perform ad hoc duties as requested by a manager.

Person Specification

• Suitably certified in specific machinery
• Strong communication skills
• Previous experience working in a waste or construction environments
• Excellent relevant health and safety legislation experience
• Safe working attitude (correct PPE)
• Work effectively in a team or solo
• Possesses a can do attitude at all times
