Job description

Job Title: Machine Operator

Kinetic Industrial is recruiting for a Machine Operator at a cable manufacturing company in Worsley. This is a permanent position involving a rotating 3-shift schedule: 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, and 10pm to 6am.

Responsibilities include:

1. Measuring and feeding raw materials into machinery
2. Operating production line equipment such as conveyor lines and hoists
3. Operating machine tools like lathes and grinders
4. Monitoring the production process
5. Conducting quality control checks to ensure products meet standards
6. Operating pre-set moulding machines and setting up machine controls
7. Adjusting machine controls and monitoring outputs
8. Finishing products with coatings
9. Assembling components into finished products
10. Reporting equipment faults to maintenance
11. Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery
12. Adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Experience in the cable industry is desirable
• Attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Proficiency in Maths and English
