Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing team in Rotherham. You will operate machinery safely, ensure products meet quality specs and work a 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday schedule.

We look for reliable, punctual candidates with experience in manufacturing who can follow instructions, work independently after training and maintain high safety standards. Team players who are proactive in maintaining quality are encouraged to apply.

Machine Operator to join our client's busy manufacturing team based in

Rotherham.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring products are manufactured to the required specifications and quality standards.

Shifts: 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and setting machinery safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out basic quality checks on your own work.
• Reporting any machine, tooling or production issues to your supervisor.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures.
• Supporting other areas of the machine shop when required.
• Working to production targets and deadlines.
• Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards.
