Job summary

Barker Ross is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join a busy Corby workshop that specialises in irrigation equipment. You will operate and set machinery, prepare materials, and load equipment while ensuring products meet quality standards and deadlines.

The role offers £16.55 per hour with overtime at £24.83 per hour, with hours Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00 and Friday 08:00–16:30, in a supportive environment with on-site parking and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with factory or manufacturing machinery.
• Experience with laser cutting, drilling, bending or threading machinery is advantageous.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings or work instructions.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable and eager to learn new machinery and processes.
• Good team player with a strong work ethic.
• Flexible to work overtime when required.

Machine Operator - Corby

We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company in Corby, specialising in irrigation equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for long-term, stable work in a busy and supportive workshop environment.

Pay: £16.55/hr | Overtime: £24.83/hr

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00

Friday: 08:00 - 16:30

The Role

• Operating and setting manufacturing machinery
• Working with laser cutting, drilling, bending and threading machinery
• Preparing materials and loading machinery
• Checking finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Following technical drawings and work instructions
• Carrying out basic machine adjustments where required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Meeting production targets and deadlines

What We're Looking For
