Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Machine Operators on behalf of a manufacturing client based in Wellington, near Taunton, Somerset. This role offers a structured training programme, clear career progression, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Starting pay is £13.34 per hour, with increases during training up to £17.26 per hour when fully trained. The position runs Monday to Friday on rotating shifts, with 40 hours per week and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Reliable, motivated, and able to work with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small production team.
• Basic mechanical understanding is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate and programme production machinery.
• Manually handle and filter materials through machines.
• Top up chemical and fluid levels on machinery.
• Change tooling to manufacture different products.
• Fault-find and resolve production issues to maintain workflow.
• Work across a variety of machines and production tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.

What We Offer
