Job summary

Hilton Food Group is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for the Day Shift in Huntingdon. You will operate production line machinery, ensure line clearance between batches, and maintain awareness of product specifications to meet quality standards.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off schedule from 6:00 to 18:00 with a £14.72 per hour rate. Benefits include overtime pay, life assurance, and opportunities for development and internal promotion within a family-oriented organisation.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery as required.
• Ensuring all product/batch is cleared from the end of line prior to the start of the next product/batch.
• Understanding of product specifications and ensuring specs are available.
• Supporting the team in the implementation and improvement of procedures and processes to meet standards.
• Providing recommendations to training function for line operators.
• Positively motivating reporting staff.

About the role:

We are now looking for an experienced Machine Operator support daily of a designated production line/ team within the Production Hall.

As a Machine Operator your role responsibilities will include:

• - Operating machinery as required
• - Ensuring all product/batch is cleared from the end of line prior to the start of the next product/batch.
• - Having an understanding of product specifications and make sure specs are available.
• - Supporting the team in the implementation and improvement of procedures and processes to ensure required standards of work are met
• - Providing recommendations to training function for all line operators.
• - Positive motivation of reporting staff.
