Job summary

Attega Group Ltd is recruiting a Machine Operator in Havant to set up and operate Amada CNC Brake Presses and Vipros Punch Machine as part of daily production. The role is full-time and permanent, 37 hours weekly, with a salary from £28,500 per year depending on experience.

You'll work Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-13:00, enjoy 25 days annual leave pro rata, bank holidays off, and benefits including a Friday finish at 1pm. Prior CNC experience preferred.

• Experience in setting and operating CNC break press machines.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Attention to details.
• Reliable and flexible work ethic.

Responsibilities

• To understand the functions of the Amada CNC Brake Presses, Vipros Punch Machine.
• To be able to set up all of the machines under the supervision of the Machine Operator/Setter.
• To understand the functions of machinery and use in an efficient manner.
• To use the Guillotine and Roll Former when required.
• To gain an understanding of the H&S and routine maintenance checks required on each of the machines.

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operatorto join their team.

The main purpose of this Machine Operator role is to set and operate 4 of the machines used on a daily basis.

In return, our client is offering a salary from £28,500P/A, depending on experience.

This role is full-time and permanent contract. The hours of work will be Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 & Friday 08:00 - 13:00.
