Job Opportunity: Machine Operator in Droitwich, Worcestershire

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our expanding team in the Plastic Moulding Industry in Droitwich. This role offers the possibility of permanent employment following a successful trial period, with immediate start dates.

Responsibilities:

1. Manually handle large plastic moulds weighing up to 70kg.
2. Load and unload moulds into the Mac3 mould machine.
3. Change mould plates using hand tools.
4. Trim excess plastic from finished moulds.
5. Inspect moulds for defects.
6. Use a glue gun as required.
7. Report production issues to the Supervisor.
8. Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
9. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations.

Skills and Experience:

• Mechanically inclined.
• Capable of meeting physical demands.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Knowledge of CNC machine operation is advantageous.
• Team player.
• Efficient and competent worker.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 5:45 am – 1:45 pm.
• Friday: 5:45 am – 10:45 am.

Pay Rate:

• £12.30 per hour.
• Overtime on Saturday: £18.15 per hour.
• Overtime on Sunday: £24.20 per hour.
