Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Production Operative for our client in Forest of Dean, near Coleford. You will operate and maintain machinery on a fast-paced production line, ensuring output aligns with the production schedule.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, strong health & safety awareness, and excellent teamwork and communication skills. This permanent role offers a salary around £30,000 per year.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Coleford, Forest of Dean

Hours: 12 Hour Shifts, 2 days, 2 Nights, 4 Off

Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum (Dependant on experience)

We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator who is logical and real team player to ensure our client's fast paced production line goes smoothly.

Main Responsibilities of a Machine Operator:

• Manage, operate and maintain production machinery.
• Ensure products are manufactured adhering to the production schedule.
• Perform preventative and corrective minor maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Execute production changeovers and initiate start-up processes.
• Visually inspect completed products or use camera systems for verification.
• Conduct regular quality assessments
• Adhere to company safety standards while ensuring a clean and organised workspace.

Experience & Background
