Seismic Recruitment is seeking a production operator to run thread rolling machinery and supporting equipment. You will ensure high quality, efficiency, and clean working areas while complying with safety procedures.

The role involves reading drawings, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with the team to meet production targets. Flexibility for shifts and a proactive approach are valued in this hands-on role.

Qualificações

• Previous assembly/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Reading engineering drawings would be advantageous.
• High level of attention to detail is essential.
• Positive and proactive attitude with good teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Set and operate thread rolling machines safely and efficiently to produce conforming components.
• Operate manual machines if required to maintain output and quality.
• Perform routine TPM-based maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
• Use precision measurement equipment to verify specifications.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Complete production data forms accurately, in paper and digital formats.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management; support company values.
• Learn and share knowledge per Competence Management procedures.
• Assist colleagues to maximise production output.
• May work alternate shifts and other duties as directed by management.

You will be responsible for the operation of thread rolling machines and supporting equipment, ensuring high quality standards, operational efficiency, and execution of priorities. This role will also ensure that the working area is organised, and housekeeping standards are maintained to minimise the risk of Foreign Object Debris (FOD).

You may work as an individual or as part of a team as required for the nature of the specific jobs which are in production. This role requires a keen eye for detail and commitment to producing conforming components and operating in accordance with company procedures and policies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Set and Operate Threadrolling machines safely, efficiently, to produce conforming components.
• Operate manual machines safely, efficiently, to produce conforming components if required.
• Performing routine maintenance in accordance with company TPM procedures.
• Correctly using precision measurement equipment to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Compliance with company procedures and policies including Health and Safety protocols.
• Accurate completion of forms, both physical and digital, as required to capture production data.
• Effective communication and teamwork, with both colleagues and management, and demonstration of company values.
• Willingness to learn and to teach others in compliance with company Competence Management procedures.
• Assisting colleagues to ensure maximum production output.
• You may be required to work alternative shifts / hours
• You may be required to perform any other reasonable duties/specific projects from time to time and as directed by management.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous assembly, fitting or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read engineering drawings would be advantageous
