Job summary

Quest Employment Ltd. is hiring a Machine Operative for a busy food production and packing operation in Peterborough. You will operate and monitor packing machinery, ensure products are packed safely, efficiently and to required quality standards.

Role offers rotating day and afternoon shifts (6:00am–2:00pm; 2:00pm–10:00pm), Monday–Friday, with Basic Pay £12.85 per hour plus Shift Allowance. Ongoing temporary placement with potential permanent opportunity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of previous Machine Operating experience.
• Experience within food production, manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and Food Safety.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to identify and report machinery faults.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.

The Role
