Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to stand for long shifts.
• Minimum 3 years in a production/manufacturing operator role.
• Experience with large manufacturing machinery; plastics experience is a plus.
• Experience performing quality checks and recording results.
• Able to meet production targets and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights on rotation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee heavy manufacturing machinery.
• Perform quality checks using pi-tapes, micrometers, vernier gauges, and plug gauges.
• Record scrap, output, product weight and OEE against targets.
• Report production or machine issues to ensure continuous production.
• Operate MHE; training will be provided; prior experience is a plus.
• Quality check products and adjust production to reduce defects.
• Train new starters when fully trained and competent.
• Carry out any other duties to support production.
