Machine Operative

gap personnel are recruiting for a Machine Operative for our client in Wellington, Somerset. Our client is a leading specialist manufacturing company.

The Role:

• Set up, operate, and closely monitor production machinery to ensure efficient packaging output.
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Support other production staff and assist in ensuring quality standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating industrial or manufacturing machines is strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks.
• A proactive, safety-conscious attitude and willingness to work in a team-focused environment.
