Job summary

Pilgrim's Pride Limited is seeking a dedicated Machine Operative to join the Ruskington site, Lincolnshire. You will be responsible for the setup and smooth operation of machinery across shifts, ensuring production targets are met and products meet customer specs while following H&S and food safety rules.

The role offers a permanent contract and a structured shift pattern. The position entails 45 hours per week, with a rolling 5-out-of-6 days schedule and Sunday off as a rest day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Machine Operative or in a similar role.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Hands-on approach to solving issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate an assigned piece of machinery or equipment.
• Ensure production targets are met and products are produced & packaged to a high standard per customer specifications.
• Adhere to Company policies, H&S and Food Safety Standards at all times.

Machine Operative

We have exciting opportunities for Machine Operative / Machine Minder to join Our Team at Ruskington site!

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday rotating every 4 weeks. You will work 45 hours per week as standard on permanent morning or afternoon shift.

Start & Finish times vary by department and as guidance you will either work:

• AM 04:30am - 13:30pm or 05:45am - 14:30pm
• PM 13:15pm - 22:00pm or 14:30pm - 23:15pm

We specialise in Snacking Products which include Scotch Eggs, cocktail sausages, mini filled bites and seasonal products.

Successful candidates will join us on a permanent basis. In your role you will be responsible for the set up and smooth operation of an assigned piece of machinery or equipment throughout your shift. Ensuring that production targets are met and all our products are produced & packaged to a high standard and according to the customer specification whilst adhering to Company policies, H&S, and Food Safety Standards at all times.
