Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting for dedicated Machine Operators for a large global manufacturer in Crumlin, Wales. This temp-to-perm role offers 4-on/4-off shifts (2 days 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 2 nights 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) with paid breaks and a clear path to permanency.

You will load moulding machines, inspect and pack plastic items, operate semi-automatic machinery after training, and maintain a clean, safe workstation in line with health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience in factory/production/manufacturing environment.
• Must hold a driving licence and have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Loading moulding machines with raw materials and basic routine machine care.
• Inspecting, trimming, and packaging manufactured plastic items to maintain quality standards.
• Operating semi-automatic production machinery after training.
• Stacking, wrapping, and relocating finished pallets using a pump truck.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workstation per health and safety policies.

Location: Crumlin, Gwent (NP11)

Position: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm

Shifts: 4-on / 4-off rotational (2 days, 2 nights)

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Previous background in a factory, production, or manufacturing environment.


• Attitude: Upbeat, proactive, and genuinely keen to work (you will be interviewing directly with the Managing Director!).


• Location & Transport: Must hold a valid driver's license and have own transport, living strictly within a 30-minute commute of Pen-y-Fan Industrial Estate.
