Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property are partnering with a large global manufacturer in Crumlin to hire Machine Operators on a temp-to-perm basis. Base pay £12.71/hr with a £55.50 weekly bonus (effective £13.86/hr).

Shifts are 4 on/4 off, 6:00–18:00 for both day and night cycles, within a role that offers a direct route to permanent employment. Candidates should have factory/manufacturing experience, own transport within 30 minutes of Pen-y-Fan Industrial Estate, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in factory/production/manufacturing.
• Proactive and interview with MD.
• Must have driver’s license and own transport within 30-minute commute of Pen-y-Fan Industrial Estate.

Responsibilities

• Load moulding machines with raw materials and perform basic machine care.
• Inspect, trim and package finished plastic items to meet quality standards.
• Operate semi-automatic production machinery after training.
• Stack, wrap and relocate finished pallets using a manual pump truck.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workstation per health and safety policies.

Producing high‑volume everyday molded plastics; this site offers clean, modern manufacturing, genuine personal progression, and a fantastic shift pattern with built‑in pay incentives.

Location: Crumlin, Gwent (NP11)

Position: Full‑Time, Temp‑to‑Perm

Pay: £12.71/hr base + £55.50 weekly bonus (effective £13.86/hr)

Shifts: 4-on / 4-off rotational (2 days, 2 nights)

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Previous background in a factory, production, or manufacturing environment.
• Attitude: Upbeat, proactive, and genuinely keen to work (you will be interviewing directly with the Managing Director!).
• Location & Transport: Must hold a valid driver's license and have own transport, living strictly within a 30‑minute commute of Pen‑y‑Fan Industrial Estate.
